It's not like before where you had a 360 guitar and a PS3 guitar. I don't know if he realizes but the exact same guitar is used on all platforms so that's why you need the dongle. If you turn the Xbox so that the dongle is in view, it'll work fine. When I had it on the rear ports, it would drop signal every once in awhile. It works far better if you have it on the side USB port. I'm so happy Freestyle is in charge of the franchise because DJ Hero 1/2 (especially 2) was sick and they deserved a franchise like Guitar Hero. The new controller feels great and offers a lot of new challenges.
